Hi, I’m Dr. Maria
Licensed & Professional Clinical Psychologist in Lake County
Dr. Maria Nodarse is a Licensed Psychologist and a Licensed School
Psychologist. Located in beautiful Mt. Dora in lake County Dr. Nodarse is centrally located, and able to serve the needs of Lake County and it’s surrounding communities. Being Bi-lingual; speaking both English and Spanish Dr. Nodarse is uniquely able to help with the mental health assessment and needs of the diverse and growing community that makes up Central Florida.
In 1990, after being an educator for 15 years, Dr. Nodarse obtained a Master’s Degree in School Psychology, from the Miami Institute of Psychology/Carlos Albizu University. Once a school psychologist, she worked at an educational/psychiatric center for children and adolescents, for 16 years. During that time, Dr. Nodarse went back to school and in 1996, obtained a Doctorate Degree in Psychology from the Miami Institute of Psychology/Carlos Albizu University.
Dr. Nodarse started her private practice in Miami in 1996. In 2006, she
and her family moved to Mount Dora. She was in private practice in Mount
Dora from 2006 to 2012. In 2013, she joined ABHC in Tavares, until March 2020.
Wanting to get back to her passion she has now gone back into private practice, and specializes in children, adolescents, and adults. She does individual, family, and couples/marital therapy, as well as a variety of assessments/evaluations.
